The Detention Center staff fingerprints individuals for pre employment screening, professional licensure, concealed weapon permits, etc

Child Care ID

The Larsen County Sheriff’s Office create Child Identification Cards for residents of Larsen County during the Larsen County Fair. These ID cards are given to parents for a minimal fee of $2.00 each. The purpose of the ID card is for the parent(s) to be able to provide law enforcement and others with a description of their child in case of an emergency such as accidental separation or kidnapping.

Sheriff’s Auction

The Larsen County Sheriff’s Office holds scheduled auctions on property foreclosures as warranted on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 10 am on the Larsen County Courthouse steps. For a list of upcoming auctions refer to the link at the bottom of this page. Auctions may be cancelled up to the time of the sale.

Per Wyoming State Statue 1-18-111 (Sale on foreclosure of mortgage, generally), when a mortgage is foreclosed a sale of the premises shall be ordered. The decree directing the sale is sufficient warrant for the Sheriff or other officer to proceed to advertise and conduct the sale. An order of sale issued by the clerk of court or an appraisement of the real property to be sold is not necessary. When the premises to be sold are in one (1) or more tracts, the court may direct the officer who makes the sale to subdivide and sell the same in parcels, or to sell any one (1) of the tracts as a whole.
